Some people say it's kinda acidic & some people say it's very alkaline. But which of them is actually true?

Apparently, watermelon is pH6.1, so slightly acidic. Some people call it 'alkaline' because it's above the average needed for the body, which is pH6.0. Obviously that's complete nonsense, because then water would have to be alkaline at pH7, which it isn't.
